Photocatalytic Nanocomposite Polymer-TiO2 Membranes for Pollutant Removal from Wastewater

نویسندگان

چکیده

Photocatalytic TiO2-PVDF/PMMA nano-composites flat sheet membranes were fabricated by phase inversion and then employed in a crossflow filtration pilot to remove model pollutants of various sizes charge from aqueous solution. The dope solution contained mixture PVDF PMMA as polymers, polyethylene glycol (PEG) polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) additives, triethyl phosphate (TEP) green solvent TiO2 immobilized photo catalyst. After undergoing characterization tests such SEM morphology thickness, porosity, contact angle water permeability, the used eliminate synthetic impact operating conditions (i.e., pH, pressure initial pollutant concentration) composition doping on performance photocatalytic antifouling activity was investigated. results showed that Congo Red Tartrazine despite their small size rejected at 99% 81%, respectively, because negative charge, while Ciprofloxacin, which is larger than but neutral crossed membrane. permeability did not decrease with decline concentration diminished when increased reduced more half for wastewater.
